After several years of studying at photo school and universities I have been working as a freelance photographer and writer for the company Wennerqvist Foto. With the main focus on nature, I write articles and take photos for local papers. I work and live in Sandviken, Gästrikland County, in the middle of Sweden. Since 1995 I have worked in Northern Norway with orca safari during the winters. I can never get enough of the magnificent nature, the always changing weather, the sea eagles or the majestic black and white mammals in the endless ocean. During the summer of 2007 and 2008 I have worked as a whale observer on Barents Sea and Greenland sea. What makes my life exciting is the combination of covering local news and then going away to work with and in nature. I get the opportunity of using the photos from my months at sea in lectures, reports, exhibitions, brochures and calendars. To travel is of course a big interest, when fishing, nature and wild animals are the main attractions. Photos from these trips, for example to Spitsbergen and Australia, can be seen on this website.
